"Horizontal Room Pan" was filmed in Haxton's Spring St. studio in New York, 1973. Strings were stretched across the studio from each of four walls. Random objects were placed in the studio. The camera was mounted on a tripod in the middle of the space. The film consists of a horizontal pan of the room, along the strings. The film installation is meant to be shown in a space that contains the strings and the random objects that appear in the filmed space.
